Mission:
The mission of the Assessment Unit within COAMS-A is to meet the educational needs and to provide valid, reliable and equitable examinations and provide a range of assessment services in a professional, innovative and effective manner for all academic programs.

To achieve excellency in assessment by using distinctive and innovative methods which will enhance the COAMS-A assessment and evaluation system at KSAU-HS for quality education.

Objectives of the Assessment Unit:
1.Establish a high-quality examination and assessment system and having a continual focus on quality assurance and performance excellence
2.Ensure validity and reliability of the test so as to make the necessary improvements
3.Underpin the equity and fairness within the testing system in order to enable all candidates to display their achievements
4.Boost the examination system to the optimum level to get better speedy and reliable results
5.Align the level of exams with common international exam standards
6.Improve the assessment polices to make them flexible enough to adopt the changing environment on continues basis
7.Improve student academic performance through investigating their feedback about the test and resolve their problems related to the exams.
