The clinical Nutrition Program at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences organized an educational activity for students and teachers of Elementary School 74 in Al Olaya district. The activity aimed to raise awareness about the importance of consuming healthy food and correcting improper dietary habits during the winter season.
The activity included a detailed explanation of the health risks associated with some common foods in the winter season, such as foods high in unhealthy fats, salt, and sugar. It also provided methods to reduce the consumption of certain foods known to be high in calories. A total of 85 students and 8 teachers attended the activity, where students asked questions and exchanged ideas and information.
This activity is part of the university's efforts to promote health and nutrition awareness in the community.
