The Executive Master in Industrial and Radiation Substance Hazard (EMIRSH) is a two-year program encompassing a total of 33 credit hours, inaugurated in 2024 at the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Riyadh. This program is meticulously designed to equip professionals with the advanced knowledge and skills indispensable for confronting the multifaceted challenges posed by industrial and radiation hazards. Our commitment extends to elevating academic standards, cultivating a culture of research excellence, and fostering meaningful community partnerships. By seamlessly integrating theoretical underpinnings with practical applications, students will acquire a profound comprehension of industrial and radiation substances fundamentals, potential threats and disasters, emergency responses, and safety measures. The curriculum places paramount importance on leadership, management acumen, and ethical decision-making within the EMIRSH realm, thereby preparing graduates to excel in diverse roles across different sectors including industry, government, and military. The program curriculum includes core courses such as emergency management and crisis leadership, chemical agents safety, biological agents safety, radiation and nuclear agents safety, and environmental safety. Students will also undertake a capstone graduation project, under supervision by experts in the field. ​

Student Admission Requirements:​

​Admission to the Executive Master in Industrial and Radiation Substance Hazard (EMIRSH) program is highly selective. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record in a relevant field such as engineering, chemistry, health sciences, or military sciences. Proficiency in English is mandatory, as evidenced by an IELTS score of 6 or equivalent. A minimum of two years of substantial professional experience in a relevant discipline is required to ensure practical grounding. To comprehensively evaluate applicants, the program necessitates the submission of two confidential letters of recommendation from individuals who can attest to the candidate's qualifications and potential. Finally, an admission interview is conducted to assess candidates' suitability for the program, their motivation, and their alignment with the program's objectives. ​​
