 Dr. Tareq Alotaibi

Dr. Tareq Al Otaibi is an accomplished Assistant Professor in the Respiratory Therapy Department at the College of Applied Medical Sciences (COAMS), King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS). A distinguished alumnus of KSAU-HS, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy in 2012, quickly establishing himself as a Teaching Assistant within the department. His unwavering dedication to education and research led him to pursue further studies, culminating in a Master of Science in Health Sciences with a focus on Respiratory Therapy from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA, USA, and a PhD in Cardio-Pulmonary Rehabilitation from Loughborough University in the UK.  

In recognition of his leadership abilities and clinical expertise, Dr. Al Otaibi was appointed Assistant Dean for Clinical Affairs at COAMS-Riyadh, KSAU-HS in July 2022. In this capacity, he has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to academic excellence, spearheading initiatives to enhance clinical education and promote research within the department. His prolific research contributions, evident in numerous publications, have significantly advanced the field of respiratory therapy, making him a respected figure both nationally and internationally.
