Dr. Waad Almalki

Assistant Professor

Dr. Waad Almalki is an assistant professor of hematology at the Clinical Laboratory Science Program/College of Applied Medical Sciences in KSAU-HS. She obtained her bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science from King Saud University before pursuing her master's degree in biomedical science, specializing in haematology, from the University of West of England, United Kingdom. She then completed her Ph.D. in haematology and leukemia from the University of Liverpool. Dr. Almalki 's research interests primarily focus on drug resistance caused by the tumor microenvironment in patients with leukemia and lymphoma, as well as transfusion medicine.
