 Dr. Abdullah Ahmad Alabdali

Associate Professor
Dr. Abdullah Al Abdali is a distinguished Associate Professor in the Emergency Medical Services Department at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, KSAU-HS. A seasoned critical care paramedic with extensive experience in inter-facility critical care transfers, Dr. Al Abdali holds a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical Services from Creighton University, a Master of Science in Emergency Health Services - Administration, Planning, and Policy from the University of Maryland-Baltimore County, and a PhD in Health Sciences with a focus on inter-facility critical care transfers from the University of Warwick, Coventry, United Kingdom.

Dr. Al Abdali’s commitment to the college is evident in his substantial administrative roles. He has served as both Program Director and Chairman of the Emergency Medical Services Department before assuming the position of Assistant Dean for Clinical Affairs. In 2021, he was appointed Dean of the college, a testament to his leadership and contributions.

A prolific researcher, Dr. Al Abdali has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals. His research interests encompass resuscitation, critical care inter-facility transfers, and emergency medical services. He is an active participant in the academic community, contributing to numerous national and international conferences and workshops.
