 Dr. Abdulrhman Alghamdi

Assistant Professor
Dr. Abdulrahman Alghamdi is an Assistant Professor within the Emergency Medical Services program at the College of Applied Medical Sciences/ King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences. His academic journey commenced with a Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services from the same institution, providing a strong foundation in the field. Building upon this, he pursued a Master's in Paramedical Science with a critical care specialization from Edith Cowan University, Australia, deepening his expertise. Dr. Alghamdi's academic pursuits culminated in a Ph.D. in Cardiovascular Sciences from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, positioning him as a leading authority in his field. Before assuming his academic role, Dr. Alghamdi gained invaluable practical experience through internships at the Saudi Red Crescent Authority and King Abdulaziz Medical City.

 

In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Alghamdi is a dedicated administrator. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Emergency Medical Services department and Co-Chairman of the Community Engagement Committee at the College of Applied Medical Sciences. His commitment to academic governance is evident through his membership in the COAMS Disciplinary Sub-Committee, Academic Counselling Committee, and COAMS Curriculum Committee.
