 Dr. Norah Abukhalid

Assistant Professor
Dr. Norah Abukhalid is currently an Assistant Professor at the Clinical Laboratory Sciences Department in the College of Applied Medical Sciences/ KSAU-HS. In 2022, she successfully earned her Ph.D. in Microbial Pathogenesis from Oregon State University in the United States of America. She has been teaching various microbiology courses including Clinical Microbiology, Parasitology, Immunology, and Virology. Furthermore, her research interest focuses on using multidisciplinary approaches to comprehend bacterial physiology and the mechanisms by which pathogens cause disease, with the goal of identifying how these pathogens evade the innate immune responses of their host.
