 Ms. Ihssan Hassan Abdelrahman

Ihssan Abdulrahman is a lecturer at the Clinical Nutrition Program/ College of Applied Medical Sciences since 2018. She obtained a Master's degree in Human Nutrition from Ahfad University / Sudan in 2007.
 She has been teaching in several universities in Sudan and Saudi Arabia, and worked as a visiting lecturer at the University of Ohio, USA. In addition to her distinguished academic experience, Ihssan has experience in the clinical field as a dietitian in many hospitals such as King Khalid University Hospital and the Kingdom Hospital. In the field of research and training, she served as training and research specialist at the Academy of Educational Development (AED) in USA, where she established and implemented the community-based management of acute malnutrition program in Sudan and Ghana. Also she had experiences of seven years as monitoring and evaluation coordinator and program management in different organizations (NGO) such as UNICEF, CARE, Safe the children-USA, World Bank. In her pursuit of academic skills excellence, Ihssan has received training programs from University of Maastricht / Netherlands, WHO and UNICEF on several topics related to food science, nutrition and problem-based education.
