Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) poses a significant global challenge, requiring new strategies to tackle the issue of infections caused by resistant bacteria. My research interest focuses on finding solutions to AMR by identifying novel targets that can act as adjuvant drugs, improving the efficacy of conventional antibiotics and revitalizing their capacity to combat resistant bacterial infections. Additionally, I am interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms behind the synergistic effects of antibiotic combination treatments.
