Dr.Sajjadallah Alhawsawi

Associate Dean, Student Affairs
I am a facilitator who brings the community, university, and college together to accomplish a shared vision to serve students. I serve my college and university by producing data-informed decisions for strategic planning, student retention, recruitment, and curriculum management. I am active in managing collaborations with other colleges on our campus, student advising, assurance of learning and teaching, enrollment processes, orientations, student data, faculty recruitment. Specifically, my responsibilities include:
Chairing the Strategic Planning Committee in the college, whereby SWOT analysis was used to set priorities for the college to ensure that the college was working and participating toward achieving strategic goals inspired by the university strategic goals. Through a disciplined and coordinated effort, fundamental decisions and actions were produced, i.e., goals, projects, and initiatives. These actions and decisions shaped and guided what the college is, who it serves, what it does, and why it does it, focusing on the vision of the college.
