Welcome to the College of Public Health & Health Informatics at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.

Our college has the distinction of being the first college of public health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is unique in the co-existence of public health and health informatics programs. We host the university research office, where lots of activities, research support and governance are present. We also host the National Guard Center of Evidence Based Medicine, where a pioneering active scientific work and education are existing. 
Since the establishment of our college in 2005 it has grown remarkably in the number of students, staff, faculty, and in the expansion of the academic programs, research, and related community services.

In the sphere of public health, we offer four strong academic programs that include Master of Public Health (MPH), MPH in Health Systems Management and MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. We also offer a prestigious higher diploma in Health Executive Leadership. While in the area of Health Informatics, two main programs are present; bachelor and master level degrees in Health Informatics (BHI and MHI), the MHI programs also include students in Al Ahsa and Jeddah campuses. With these two main pillars of the college; public health and health informatics, we are very strong and compatible with the recent transformation of our beloved Kingdom where prevention, protection, digitalization, and research are planned, targeted, and needed.
We have strong national communications, have gained national recognition for our graduates, productivity, and their integration into communities of work across the kingdom.

Our alumni and students are working on disease prevention, community preparedness and advocacy for public health.
We believe in the role of public health research in enhancing the community and guide public health policies. We aim to foster strong national and international partnerships, to actively lead in science, translate research results for community enhancement programs and transform identified public needs into applied public health research.
