The HSM program achieved the Candidacy status from the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME). Candidate status is an indication that a program in healthcare management has voluntarily committed to participate in a plan of self-improvement and is actively progressing toward the status of accreditation. Candidate status is not accredited status and does not guarantee eventual accredited status.
Program Description
The MPH in HSM is a full-time program delivered over two calendar years, offered within the College of Public Health and Health Informatics (CPHHI), King Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS). The program consists of 13 taught courses modules and applied research project. Students are enrolled for a minimum of four semesters and are required to complete the program within a maximum of four years upon registration. The MPH in Health Systems Management (HSM) is a credit-based program consisting of 42 credits, comprising of 6 core college-wide course modules and 7 compulsory department course modules. The taught course modules account for 39 credits while the research project accounts for 3 credit hours.
