Dr. Amal Zaidan is an assistant professor of public health, specializing in global health epidemiology. During her studies for an MPH and a PhD, she worked closely with internationally recognized researchers from the World Health Organization, which equipped her with knowledge and skills to address public health challenges on local, national, and global levels. This improves her expertise in big data analysis, prediction, and understanding the complex, interconnected factors that influence health.

Dr. Zaidan is a researcher and reviewer in highly recognized journals. Her research focuses on understanding the burden of diseases and systematically measuring how specific risk factors contribute to health outcomes at different levels, to inform public health policy and practice.
