She has been working with the MNGHA since 1998, starting as a network administrator and part of a team that led a major transformation of the MNGHA network infrastructure kingdom-wide. She later established the Office Automation and Internet division, responsible for creating the first official MNGHA Internet and Intranet websites, which later incorporated many e-services to patients and healthcare givers.
She led many tele-health projects including the development of the TEMAD e-service, which enabled MNGHA diabetic patients to remotely manage their disease. Other areas of specialty include: Mobile-Health and Networking. She is the first Saudi female with a PhD in Health Informatics.
She joined the College of Public Health and Health Informatics in 2014, and is involved in many research projects. She also has many contributions to public services aimed at raising awareness of Health Informatics.

Responsible for IT Security & Planning: consisting of all NGHA systems throughout the Kingdom. More importantly, I have the responsibility of producing essential Security Plans to assess and assist major NGHA Projects.
Working as a lecturer and consultant with the NGHA Nursing College: conducting workshops and training for staff, and providing consultations on Nursing College IT projects.

Managing the Internet Infrastructure Setup: which includes the King Abdulaziz Medical City KAMC-CR (Central Region) Satellite link, Firewall Server, DMZ Proxy Server, and LAN Proxy Server, in addition to other equipment such as Routers and Dial-up Servers.
The Setup and Monitoring of the King Abdulaziz Medical City KAMC-WR (Western Region) Internet Infrastructure: where I supervised the monitoring of the WAN link between the regions, and also assisted in the Internet design and layout in the Western Region.
Internet/Intranet site development: this involves the development of the main Saudi Arabia National Guard Health Affairs (SANG-HA) website on the Internet (www.ngha.med.sa), in addition to developing the KAMC-CR and KAMC-WR websites on the organizations Intranet using NetObjects, ASP, and other development tools..
Internet Security: Responsible for monitoring and updating the Firewall and Proxy configurations, where regular updates to block unwanted sites are carried out, in addition to securing our Internet setup from Hackers. My responsibilities as Section Manager involved monitoring all National Guard Health Affairs regional projects (Central-Western-Eastern).

 Network Project Design and Implementation: participated in the design and implementation of the Saudi Arabia National Guard, Health Affairs Network, which spans over the Kingdom covering sites in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, in addition to many remote National Guard sites.
Setup of Email system: Managed the design and implementations of the complete Email System over the Network, covering both KAMC-CR and KAMC-WR using Microsoft Exchange 5.5. I also was in charge of distributing the email accounts at KFH (4500 accounts), and assisted in the process at KKH (1500 accounts) which involved setting standards and policies.
