• I worked in Dr. Abdulrahman Almishari hospital as a general practitioner in internal medicine and the emergency department for three years from 15/12/2005 until 29/11/2008.

• After obtaining my master's degree in health informatics, I worked in King Khaled Eye Hospital in Riyadh, where I applied to gain more experience in the health informatics field. It was an unpaid training which started on 8.10.2011 and continued until I joined the college of informatics as a lecturer on 3.3.2012.

• I obtained my Ph.D. in health information management from the University of Pittsburgh on 31.08.2019.

• I currently work as an assistant professor in the department of health informatics in the college of public health and health informatics, King Saud bin Abdul-Aziz university for health sciences.

• Currently, the program director for the health information systems bachelor program in the college of public health and health informatics, King Saud bin Abdul-Aziz University for health sciences, and president of Saudi association for health informatics SAHI.
