Prof. Abusaris is a professor of mathematics. He obtained his PhD in Applied mathematics in 1994 from the University of Illinois at Chicago. His fields of interests encompass difference equations, discrete dynamical systems, number theory and cryptography, mathematical epidemiology, applied statistics, modeling, machine learning and artificial intelligence, and mathematics education. He published, independently and collaboratively, over 60 scientific papers in highly-renowned journals. He supervised 2 PhD. Candidates and over 20 MPH candidates.
