This is an introductory course aiming to introduce students to the basic principles and concepts of biology. The course will emphasize the cellular and molecular basis of life, biochemical processes, cellular structure and function, cell growth and division. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to demonstrate understanding of life at the cellular and molecular level.
