In this course, the student will practice in a simulated environment to apply basic Concepts, skills, and techniques of nursing practice while incorporating concepts of health education, communication, ethical, and legal principles in nursing. Students are required to achieve certain core clinical competencies appropriate for their level as an outcome of this course and they will be tracked by the collected matrix for BSN program clinical Competencies. Field Experience:
This course offers a total of 90 contact hours of clinical training in well-equipped skill labs and simulation center utilizing simulation with various degrees of fidelity that are essential for the training and preparation of nursing students’ readiness and professional development. College faculty direct and supervise overall students’ clinical education through application of course’s objectives and carry out a comprehensive evaluation of the student’s experience, achievement, and progress.
