Students will be assisted in identifying the health needs of the individuals/ families and population of various age groups and respond to them utilizing the nursing process and application of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention while incorporating concepts of health education, communication, cultural, ethical, and legal principles in nursing.
 
Field Experience:
This course offers a total of 90 contact hours of clinical training in a variety of carefully selected and recognized field sites that match the course objectives and learning outcomes. College faculty will direct and supervise overall students’ clinical education through the application of the course’s learning outcomes and consistent clinical follow-up as guided by the course specification. Whereas the identified training site in collaboration with its field staff will facilitate a conducive learning environment that is most supportive and highly constructive to enable students’ professional community nursing skills and competencies development. Jointly, CON faculty and field staff will ensure to carry out a comprehensive evaluation of the student’s clinical experience, achievements, and progress in relation to the predetermined course clinical learning outcomes.​​
