The course introduces the students to the concept of an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary team utilizing a holistic approach and the provision of palliative care to a special population while incorporating the concepts of health education, communication, cultural, ethical, and legal principles in nursing. It introduces students and prepares them to view caring and nursing from a different aspect. It assists them in developing and acquiring critical thinking skills related to palliative care and applying these skills in their professional life.
