It introduces behavioral science concepts,
identifies and analyses economic, cultural, social political and environmental
forces that influence the health of human beings. The health of disadvantaged
groups is a particular example for illustration of social policy which addresses
inequities in health care. Finally the course introduces students to
psychological concepts such as personality, perception, communication, and
memory and relates these to health.
