This course focuses on providing the opportunity
for applying and implementing the nursing process and critical thinking skills
in the care of young, middle, and older adult experiencing an array of
bio-physical alterations and the associated response to illness in a variety of
health care settings with an emphasis on secondary and tertiary prevention.
Emphasis is on professional health care that reflects comprehensive,
research-based, humanistic, altruistic, and inter-professional
values.
