Anatomy and Physiology I (PNUR 211) is the first of two courses in sequence designed to provide a knowledge-based that is essential to Pre-Nursing students. Anatomy is the science of the structure of the human body. Physiology is the science of the functions of the different body systems. Nursing students should understand the basic anatomy and physiology of the human body and their clinical significance. This understanding is necessary for further study of pathophysiology and clinical sciences such as medical-surgical nursing.
