The MME program offers specialized education and leadership training for medical educators across various fields, including medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, and health ministry. It prepares graduates for educational leadership roles by deepening their understanding of educational theory, teaching methods, and program design. The program spans two academic years with a block-based structure, totaling 42 credit hours in line with King Saud bin Abdulaziz University regulations.
Students from the university's campuses in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Alahsa engage in a unified learning experience, with classes held on campus and equipped with modern technology. Faculty mainly based in Riyadh lead the program, supported by colleagues from other campuses to maintain academic standards.
The curriculum consists of eight blocks focusing on different aspects of medical education, with the final two blocks dedicated to research and a significant master’s project. Assessment methods are varied, including assignments, presentations, and exams, tailored to reflect each block's learning outcomes.
