The Program aims to graduate highly qualified pharmacists with specialized expertise, positioning them to lead and transform Saudi Arabia's pharmaceutical industry through advanced research and innovative therapeutic solutions. The program's goals include equipping graduates with specialized knowledge and skills in nanomedicine and biotechnology, fostering research capabilities that drive innovation, advancing pharmaceutical research by developing experts in nano-drug delivery and biotechnology, enabling local innovation and leveraging nanotechnology for major disease breakthroughs in Saudi Arabia, and enhancing the country's human capital in these fields. By focusing on education and development in nanomedicine and biotechnology, the program seeks to establish Saudi Arabia as a frontrunner in the pharmaceutical industry.

Mission

To graduate highly qualified pharmacists with specialized expertise in pharmaceutics and nanomedicine, poised to lead and transform the pharmaceutical industry in Saudi Arabia through advancement of research and developing innovative therapeutic solutions.

  • 3. To enhance Saudi Arabia's human capital in nanomedicine and biotechnology, thereby establishing it as a frontrunner in the pharmaceutical industry, through focused education and development in these promising fields.

        • 2. Conduct innovative research, designing and analyzing experiments in Nano-Pharmaceutical Sciences.

        • 4. Communicate complex nanomedicine concepts, research findings, and innovative pharmaceutical solutions clearly and confidently to the scientific community.

        • Admission Criteria

              • ​1. Applicant should be a Saudi citizen or, if non-Saudi, on an official scholarship.
              • 2. Applicant must have a Pharm.D. or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from a Saudi University or any other accredited university with a minimum cumulative GPA of atleast 3.75 on a 5.0 scale or equivalent.
              • 3. Applicant should have a record of good conduct and be medically fit.
              • 4. Applicant should submit a minimum IELTS score 6.0 or TOEFL iBT of 60.
                • 5. Applicant has to submit two letters of recommendation from her/his teaching faculty and/or work supervisors.
                • 6. Applicant, if an employee, must provide his/her employer's official approval for joining the program and partial work-load relief.
                • 7. The applicant must pass an interview with the program admissions committee.​
