History

The Deanship of Postgraduate Education was established in the '80s under the umbrella of King Abdulaziz Medical City-Ministry National Guard Health Affairs in Riyadh named as Academic Affairs. It's one of the significant department that spread out its services later on the other regions of KSA for more than 3 decades. It has 8 departments that offer Continuing Medical Education and specialized training programs/workshop and other educational support services to all health care professionals of the Ministry of National Guard and other medical workers. The main objective is to bring academic advancement and promote professional development to support the Ministry of National Guard in achieving excellent healthcare system with highest national and international standard of patient care that fully managed by highly competent Saudi staff.

Vision

Globally recognized as Postgraduate and Continues Medical Education programs and activities by creating a culture of academic excellence that embraces diversity and sustains innovation and intellectual learning with a commitment to excellence in education, research, patient care, and community services. Our plan comes in an endeavor to improve the integrity and continuity of the health care provider, by means of the development of medical education training courses, in line with Saudi Arabia’s vision 2030 with regard to improving the quality of healthcare and whole MNG-HA program services.

Postgraduate Education provides a high-quality learning environment and continuously provide excellence in education with up‐to‐date information and research by enriching the experiences of healthcare professionals to promote healthcare of KSA society.
