The College of Health Sciences and Professions program provides a sound basis for new students to merge from high school to undergraduate and specialized studies in health sciences. It includes intensive courses in English (instructional language) and Arabic languages and culture courses in addition to the main core courses which include Islamic, general, organic, and biochemistry, physics and biostatistics, anatomy, principles of pathology, principles of pharmacology, medical ethics and patient safety, and computer applications in health informatics.​

The Bachelor of Health Informatics equips graduates with the knowledge, professional, and technical skills related to health care and how information technology supports the medical fields. This program accommodates the growing needs in health Informatics as graduates contribute to managing health information in hospitals and clinics, as well as working to manage the design and implementation of health information technology and maintaining the Electronic Health Record systems.
