The College of Health Sciences and Professions program provides a sound basis for new students to merge from high school to undergraduate and specialized studies in health sciences. It includes intensive courses in English (instructional language) and Arabic languages and culture courses in addition to the main core courses which include Islamic, general, organic, and biochemistry, physics and biostatistics, anatomy, principles of pathology, principles of pharmacology, medical ethics and patient safety, and computer applications in health informatics.​

The Bachelor of Health Informatics equips graduates with the knowledge, professional, and technical skills related to health care and how information technology supports the medical fields. The program includes courses with practical applications and clinical training at the King Abdul Aziz Medical City and centers of primary medical care. The program aims to provide a high level of education in undergraduates to be a portal to improve the quality of the nursing profession. Also, enhancing nursing practice based on evidence that features a high level of cultural and social awareness.
