Admission Requirements

    Admission Conditions

    • The applicant must be a Saudi national.
    • The cumulative average must be at least 3.5/5 or its equivalent for graduates of Medical and Dental Colleges, for other applicants applying for healthcare majors, the cumulative average must be at least Very Good 3.75/5 or its equivalent.
    • The applicant must achieve the required score in the English language test as outlined in the table below:

    • Pass the personal interview (including presenting an initial approval letter from the employer and passing the English language test, which are essential conditions for the interview).

    • Admission is based on a ranking system according to GPA, availability of seats, and personal interview.
    • Applicants should follow the application results until the end of the admission period through the link of the application portal available in the Dean of Admission and Registration account on the X platform.

    King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) is one of the leading institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia dedicated exclusively to the advancement of health sciences. It holds the distinction of being the first university in the Kingdom and the region to specialize entirely in health-related academic disciplines. KSAU-HS was officially established by Royal Decree from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz on March 6, 2005, following the remarkable success of the National Guard Health Affairs (NGHA) educational programs, which laid the foundation for the University's launch. The University operates under the umbrella of the Ministry of National Guard and is organizationally affiliated with the Ministry of Education. It has been fully accredited by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and offers a wide range of academic programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. KSAU-HS is committed to developing future healthcare professionals equipped with the necessary scientific knowledge, practical skills, and ethical foundations to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare sector, both nationally and globally. To welcome and orient new students, the University's Department of University Relations and Media Affairs has produced a comprehensive bilingual brochure titled “Who Are We?” This publication aims to introduce new students to the University's academic structure, regulations, services, and educational philosophy. The brochure covers vital information about all three campuses located in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al-Ahsa, enabling students and their families to better understand the academic environment and community they are joining. KSAU-HS is home to a diverse range of colleges and academic departments. The Riyadh campus, which serves as the main campus, includes seven colleges: the College of Medicine, College of Dentistry, College of Pharmacy, College of Public Health and Health Informatics, College of Nursing, College of Applied Medical Sciences, and the College of Science and Health Professions. Jeddah campus features four colleges, and the Al-Ahsa campus comprises three. These colleges provide cutting-edge curricula aligned with international standards and emphasize hands-on training, interdisciplinary collaboration, and research excellence. In addition to the colleges, the University includes several key administrative and academic units, such as the Deanship of Admission and Registration, Deanship of Student Affairs, Deanship of Postgraduate Education, and the King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC). The KAIMRC is a pioneering research institute that contributes significantly to biomedical innovation in the region.
