Participation of KSAU-HS and KAIMRC in the Global Health Exhibition 2025

King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) and King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC) participated in the Global Health Exhibition 2025, under the umbrella of the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs, under the theme “Excellence in the Healthcare Ecosystem.”

The joint pavilion served as an interactive platform to showcase the latest medical and technological innovations and solutions, and to present projects that contribute to enhancing the quality of healthcare services and promoting investment in the sector, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.


The pavilion was honored by a visit from His Excellency the Minister of Health, Mr. Fahad Al-Jalajel, who was received by His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Bandar Abdulmohsen Al Knawy. He reviewed the most prominent achievements in the fields of education, research, and medical innovation, praising the pivotal role played by both institutions in enhancing the quality of healthcare services and supporting the national transformation journey toward a more efficient and sustainable healthcare system.


During the days of the exhibition, the pavilion welcomed a number of prominent health leaders, including His Excellency Dr. Majed Al-Fayyadh, Chief Executive Officer of King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre; Dr. Jalal Al-Owaisi, President of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority; Dr. Abdullah Al-Quwaizani, Chief Executive Officer of the Public Health Authority (Weqaya); and Mr. Khaled Al-Shaibani, Chief Executive Officer of the Health Sector Transformation Program. They praised the initiatives and research and innovative projects they observed, which embody the leadership of KSAU-HS and KAIMRC in health education, scientific research, and medical innovation.


The exhibition also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the University and the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, aimed at enhancing cooperation in the fields of research, development, and innovation through the implementation of joint studies on emerging technologies and the exchange of expertise to support the health and pharmaceutical sectors.


The pavilion attracted wide interest from specialists and stakeholders from inside and outside the Kingdom, who expressed their admiration for the research projects and distinctive initiatives on display, affirming the position of KSAU-HS and KAIMRC in supporting innovation and developing the national healthcare ecosystem.
