To be aligned with the Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 as built around three primary themes: a vibrant society, a thriving economy, and an ambitious nation. Also, we aim to develop a knowledge-based economy established on development and innovation to enhance King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences as an educational institution specialized in health sciences and to raise its level in the international educational organizations. Furthermore, our Vice-Presidency of Postgraduate Education contributes to increasing the efficiency and quality of postgraduate scientific affairs for faculty members, postgraduate academic programs, scholarships, health training activities, and continuous professional development, contributing to building a knowledge society.
One of the primary responsibilities for the Vice-Presidency is promoting university faculty members, scientific theses, and health publications. Furthermore, it prepares outstanding students for scholarships by engaging them in a diverse and stimulating academic environment until they reach their goals. The Vice-Presidency pursues by supervising the specialized health scientific societies at the university to develop its work by establishing new associations in the scientific and health fields to organize its initiatives, continue scientific communication, and increase community awareness.
Vice-Presidency provides knowledge and resources besides leadership and excellence in academic postgraduate programs (master's degree and diploma) and health training (residency & fellowship). In addition, the Vice-Presidency's main objective is to develop practitioners and health assistants in health activities through departments and special centers for Continuous Professional Development and specialized medical training in all university branches in cooperation with local and international health and training institutions.
In response to the national need, we enhance scientific and practical excellence and enrich knowledge within the best practices and international standards. Moreover, we make our strategic plans, formulate programs and activities, provide sources and resources, and overcome difficulties and challenges to raise the efficiency of academic, educational, and training health programs. Also, we create an interactive knowledge environment for all graduate students, scholarships, healthcare providers, and allied health professionals, enabling them to become future leaders in their fields.
Finally, the Vice-Presidency is always keen to explore new ways of development in the health and administrative field to formulate its programs and its outputs in line with the ambition of Saudi Vision 2030 and the aspirations of the wise leadership willing to reach the knowledge-based economy.
