Postgraduate Admission Requirements

To apply for
residency or
fellowship training programs at MNGHA/KSAU-HS, applicants must apply through the SCFHS matching system. They should sit for an interview that is conducted during the admission period. In addition, when the applicant is accepted, he/she should submit the following required documents:
- Notification of acceptance from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
- Complete the application form
- CV (updated)
- Proof of Bachelor of Medicine / Surgery
- Certificate of Excellence
- Academic Transcript/Record (cumulative average of at least 3.5 out of 5 for specialization programs)
- Three recent recommendation letters (at least two of them should be from consultants in the selected specialty)
- Copy of Saudi ID
- Copy of passport
- One (1) personal photograph (4x6)
- Letter of financial guarantee (full-time) from the employer
- Valid BLS, ACLS “ICU applicant", PALS “PICU & Ped. ER applicants' Certificates
- MBBS Certificate & Internship Certificate
- Verification Qualification Form
- IHI Open School online course result (online - as per e-mail instructions)
- Medical Checklist through Pre-Employment Clinic (as per e-mail instructions)
- Valid Malpractice Medical Insurance
- Valid Professional Classification and Registration Record
- Provide a Sponsorship Letter
- Saudi Board certificate or equivalent (for fellowship applicants)
- Be medically Fit
- SLE (Saudi Council Selection Examination Result for applicants for residency training program)
