It is my great pleasure to welcome fellow faculty members, students, and KSAU-HS affiliates to the Office of Research. Our primary aim is to promote high-impact and locally relevant scientific research that contributes to the transformation of the Kingdom into a knowledge-based economy, in line with Saudi Vision 2030. We support and foster research that addresses preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic healthcare services, enabling policymakers to address public health concerns.
The Office of Research comprises six centers that complement each other:

Research Quality Center (RQC)
University Research Profile (URP)
Biostatistics Support Center (BSC)
Scientific Writing Center (SWC)
The National & Gulf Center for Evidence-Based Health Practice (NGCEBHP)
Enhancing research productivity among faculty members and students at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences is an inherent investment in our human capital. Establishing these six centers within the Research Office can enrich the University’s contribution to regional and international scientific research and, ultimately, help shape Saudi health policies and procedures.
Welcome to the KSAU-HS Office of Research. Under leadership of the Associate Dean, Dr. Al-Dubayee, the Office of Research has a primary responsibility to enable and enhance local scientific research. Conducting and publishing high-impact research is essential to achieving goals set under Saudi Vision 2030, and helping to transform the Kingdom into a knowledge-based economy. We encourage and support research that addresses preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic healthcare services and enables our nation's decision-makers to address public health concerns more accurately, in accordance with the University's ongoing commitment to fulfilling Saudi Vision 2030 as it sets a clear direction for improving access to quality healthcare.
To achieve global leadership in health professions education with commitment to excellence in research through empowering healthcare academics and researchers to contribute to global academia and science by addressing their specific scholarly needs through training and individual support.
The KSAU-HS Office of Research provides high-quality health-related research and community services. It aims to establish an international research office at the forefront of world-class quality of life and health outcomes research in Saudi Arabia and worldwide. In addition, it will strive to promote communication and engagement between the KSAU-HS research community, the public and policymakers. This, in turn, will lead to the transformation of research findings to real-world improvements in quality of life and health outcomes regionally and globally.

Genomics & Rare Diseases
Aims to elucidate and target genetic and rare diseases devastating the health of Saudi population.
Pharmaceutical Development
Aims to provide pharmaceutical product development.
Public Health
Aims to provide novel preventive, basic science, diagnostic, and therapeutic solutions for communicable and non-communicable diseases to ease the burden on the economy.
Health Science Education
Aims to provide academic teaching in health sciences, including simulation, clinical skill labs, and other related domains.
